Aisling Glynn graduated with a Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management and a Degree in Business Management from Trinity College, Dublin. While at college Aisling was employed at the Conrad Hilton in Dublin and spent summers working with Event Management companies in the South of France.
In recent years she has overseen the Conference Services Department for Nantucket Island Resorts a company which boasts Nantucket's most prestigious properties in its portfolio. During her time there Aisling has planned numerous corporate events including the annual Wachovia Securities Conference which brings over 1,000 people to the island. Other clients include Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Aisling has been instrumental in the development of the wedding business at both the White Elephant and the Harbor House Village. Over the years she has worked with the most exclusive wedding vendors on Nantucket.
Aisling joined ACKtivities in February, 2003 and as Vice President she will head up the wedding planning division and assist on other corporate projects such as Nantucket Wine Festival, Nantucket Film Festival, events for Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Nantucket Golf Club's Charity Classic.
